Q: Who is your favorite athlete outside of golf?
Watson: My wife, Angie (formerly Angie Ball), played in the WNBA. I was a student at the University of Georgia and she was there rehabbing her knee. We started talking about golf and that gave me a reason to talk to her.

Watson: Payne Stewart -- he changed later in life and joked around a lot and everybody loved him.
Q: Are you friends with any celebrities?

Watson: When they told me I had my PGA TOUR card when I finished in the top 20 on the Nationwide Tour money list.
Q: What charitiable, organizations or individuals that you work with or support?
Watson: For three years, I have sponsored the "Bubba Watson Invitational" in Pensacola at the University of West Florida, a women's NCAA Division II golf event at Stonebrook Village Golf Course, my home course in Pace, Fla.
These girls probably won't make the LPGA Tour, but for them to have some of the experiences I have had are great -- we have a dinner, some nice tee gifts, we try to have a great experience for the kids. I like to help out women's golf because I think the sport can grow, and my wife is an athlete so that is important to me.
The man who built the Stonebrook course, Ron Cook, his daughter Robin was an All-American all four years at Auburn and later became the golf coach at the University of West Florida. He asked me if I knew anyone that could help sponsor a tournament and I decided to do it myself.
Q: What would you recommend about your hometown if someone was visiting it (restaurant, bar, hangout, museum, etc.)?
Watson: Nothing in Bagdad, Fla. In Pensacola, McGuire's Pub -- there is almost $1 million in one-dollar bills on the walls there.
Q: Tell us a little bit more about your wife?
Watson: Angie (6-4) played in the WNBA for one year with the Charlotte Sting and also in Europe for three years as a power forward. She currently serves as my agent. She's been an agent for WNBA players. She has an 8-handcap and has golf aspirations of her own.
Q: Do you have any pets?
Watson: A Chihuahua -- my father takes care of it when he is traveling. "He would never let me have a dog growing up, so I bought it when I turned pro and when I travel, I make him take care of it for me."
