Video Lesson: PGA Teacher of the Year Peter Krause solves downhill lies

On Wednesday, 2005 PGA Teacher of the Year Peter Krause showed you how to hit successful shots from sidehill lies. In this exclusive Improve Your Game video lesson, Krause demonstrates how to properly play a shot from a downhill lie.

    Featured Hole

    NAME: Redbud
    HOLE: 16
    YARDAGE: 170
    PAR: 3
    '06 STROKE AVG.: 3.297
    RANK: 1

KEY FACT: Phil Mickelson hit a wonderful tee shot to about six feet here. He missed the birdie putt, but the par secured what at the time was a four-shot lead. The par at 16, which played as the most difficult hole in the final round, allowed Mickelson to put it in cruise control for the final two holes, en route to his second green jacket and third major championship overall. Along with his win at the 2005 PGA Championship, Mickelson has now won two consecutive majors.
